Tasting Notes

Lush flavours of blackberry, violet, and jubes unfold into a savoury, gamey finish. Silky tannins and well-integrated oak create a wine of depth, intensity, and refinement.

Vineyard & Winemaking

Handpicked from low-yielding vines in the exclusive ‘H’ block of Merricks Grove Vineyard. Open tank fermentation with hand plunging, followed by 10 days of skin contact. Aged for 18 months in premium French oak barrels, then hand-bottled and labelled — one of just 322 bottles produced.

Food Pairing

Exceptional with duck breast, wild mushroom pasta, or slow-roasted lamb.

How to Serve

Slightly cooler than room temperature (13°C to 16°C) is just right for lighter reds like Pinot Noir — cool enough to keep the flavours fresh and vibrant, but not so cold that you miss out on all that silky, layered goodness.
