Our first-ever Field Blend is bright, expressive and a little bit romantic — a collaborative release between Red Hill Estate and local artist Emily Snowdon.
Behind the Bottle
The label features a commissioned artwork by Mornington Peninsula artist Emily Snowdon. Titled Pizza Date, it captures the joy of shared meals, Italian flavours and everyday rituals: a nod to our family’s Italian heritage and the creative spirit behind this wine.
Tasting Notes
Vibrant, unfiltered and wholly expressive, this blend of Pinot Grigio (65%) and Chardonnay (35%) brings together zesty citrus, ripe stone fruit and a gentle floral lift. There’s energy and purity in every sip, finishing clean and crisp with a mineral edge.
Vineyard & Winemaking
Crafted from handpicked fruit grown on our cool-climate vineyards, this wine was made with minimal intervention to honour the character of the fruit. Natural fermentation, no oak, no acid additions and no fining — just a wild ferment, gently pressed and bottled unfiltered for a fresh, honest expression of site and season.
Food Pairing
A perfect match for fresh seafood, antipasti, or a long table lunch with focaccia and burrata. This wine also shines alongside simple pasta dishes or a pizza night shared with good company.
How to Serve
This textured blend of cool-climate Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay is best served around 8–10°C. Cool enough to keep things crisp and clean, but warm enough to let those creamy notes and citrusy lift take centre stage. It’s your go-to for long lunches and low-effort, high-impact entertaining.
